Video Editing That Turns Katy Phone Footage Into Booked Customers

Short, captioned videos for Katy businesses, cut from clips you already have or filmed with us on location.

The Digital Elites edits Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and longer YouTube videos for clinics, restaurants, builders and home service companies across Katy, Cinco Ranch, Fulshear and Cypress. Send us raw clips from your phone, or book a shoot at your location or at our Katy studio.

Every edit is cut for where it will play: vertical with captions for Instagram and Facebook, chaptered with a custom thumbnail for YouTube, short and silent for your website.

Bring a few clips you've already filmed, the platforms you post on and the services you want booked.

Overview

What Video Editing Covers for a Katy Business

Editing is where a shaky three-minute phone clip becomes a 30-second video someone in Cinco Ranch watches to the end and then calls about.

Most of that comes from four jobs: cutting straight to the strongest moment, adding captions because most people scroll with the sound off, cleaning audio so your tech or doctor is easy to hear, and ending on one clear next step. We do all four on every video, in Premiere Pro for longer pieces and CapCut for fast-turn clips.

Prefer to film in person? Our studio is at 3323 Upland Spring Trce, Katy, TX 77493, and we also film on location at your clinic, kitchen or job site.

Why local videos stall

Four Reasons Katy Business Videos Get Scrolled Past

Most Katy businesses we talk to aren't short of footage. Their camera rolls are full. The clips just never get cut, captioned and posted in a form neighbors will watch.

The Good Part Starts at Second Eight

The finished patio, the plated brisket or the new smile shows up after a long intro, and most viewers have already swiped away.

No Captions, No Message

People watch Reels in the school pickup line or a waiting room with the sound off. Without captions, your offer never reaches them.

Wind Noise and Room Echo

Outdoor job-site wind or a tiled exam room makes speech hard to follow, and viewers leave rather than strain to hear.

What's included

What Our Katy Video Editing Includes

Each project is scoped to how much footage you have and where the videos will run. These are the pieces we use most.

  1. 01Reels, TikTok and Shorts Edits
  2. 02Captions and On-Screen Text
  3. 03Audio Cleanup and Color Correction
  4. 04YouTube and Website Videos
  5. 05On-Location and Studio Filming
  6. 06One Shoot, a Month of Clips
  7. 07Review Links and Final Files
  1. Reels, TikTok and Shorts Edits

Vertical 9:16 edits of 15 to 60 seconds that open on the result: the finished deck, the before-and-after, the dish coming off the line.

Each one gets a hook line on screen in the first second, captions, your logo and a closing card with your phone number or booking link.

  2. Captions and On-Screen Text

Captions in your brand colors, checked by a person for the words auto-captions get wrong, like Cinco Ranch, Fulshear or Invisalign.

We also deliver SRT caption files for YouTube and Facebook, so viewers can switch them on and the spoken words are searchable.

  3. Audio Cleanup and Color Correction

We cut wind, AC hum and room echo, level voices against music, and correct color so food, skin tones and paint finishes look true.

Music comes from a licensed library, so your videos don't get muted or blocked for copyright after you post them.

  4. YouTube and Website Videos

Longer edits for YouTube and your site: service explainers, clinic tours, model-home walkthroughs and the owner answering common questions.

We add chapters, a custom thumbnail, title and description in YouTube Studio, plus a short muted loop for your website's hero section.

  5. On-Location and Studio Filming

When you need fresh footage, we film at your restaurant, clinic or job site from Katy out to Brookshire, Richmond or Sugar Land, or at our Katy studio.

Each shoot runs from a shot list, so one visit covers testimonials, process shots and short talking-head answers.

    A typical shot list covers:

    • The owner or lead staff answering three common questions
    • Process shots of a real job or a dish being made
    • Exterior and signage for your Google Business Profile
    • A customer testimonial, with a signed release
    • Wide shots of the space for your website
  6. One Shoot, a Month of Clips

We cut one shoot or one long video into a batch of short clips, each built around a single question, service or offer.

You get them labeled by platform and in posting order, so whoever runs your pages just uploads.

  7. Review Links and Final Files

Drafts arrive as a review link where you leave comments pinned to the exact frame, so changes are clear the first time.

Finals come in the sizes each platform needs, and we keep the project files so a new phone number or offer is a quick re-export.

Before you film

What to Capture So Your Katy Videos Are Easy to Edit

The edit is only as good as the raw footage. A few habits on your phone make the difference between a clip we can build a Reel around and one we have to skip.

Before you send us footage:

  1. Film vertical for social, horizontal for YouTube
  2. Hold each shot for five seconds before moving
  3. Record speech close to the phone, away from the AC
  4. Shoot the finished result in daylight
  5. Get written OK from any customer on camera
  6. Send originals, not clips saved from WhatsApp

New clients get a one-page filming guide. For clinics, it also lists what to keep out of frame, like patient charts and screens in the background.

Measurement

Judge Videos by Watch Time and Calls, Not Likes

Likes tell you people saw the clip. Watch time and profile taps tell you whether it moved anyone toward booking.

MeasureWhat it tells you
Three-second hold rate How many viewers stayed past the opening, so we know if the hook works
Average watch time Whether people stay long enough to see the offer at the end
Profile and link taps How many viewers went looking for more after watching
Calls and messages Enquiries that came in from video posts and boosted clips
Viewer location Whether views come from the Katy area or from people you can't serve
Best-performing format Which openings, lengths and topics to repeat in next month's edits

These numbers come from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Studio insights. Give us viewer access and we report them monthly next to the videos we delivered.

How it works

From Raw Clips to Posted Videos

  1. Footage Review

We go through what's already on your phone or Google Drive and tell you which clips are usable and what's missing.

  2. Plan the Cuts

We agree the videos, platforms and lengths, and the one action each video asks for: call, book, order or visit.

  3. Shoot Where Needed

Gaps get filled with a planned shoot at your Katy location or at our studio, built around a shot list you approve.

  4. Edit and Review

Drafts come to you as a review link with frame-pinned comments, so feedback takes minutes, not a string of emails.

  5. Deliver and Post

Final files arrive sized for each platform with captions and thumbnails, ready for you or us to schedule.

Monthly editing

What a Monthly Video Editing Plan Looks Like

Steady short videos do more than one big video a year. A monthly plan keeps fresh clips going out while your team keeps working.

Month to month, no long contracts. Pause in your slow season or add edits ahead of a busy one.

Each month includes:

  • A batch of vertical clips cut from your footage or our shoot
  • Captions, branded text and end cards on every clip
  • One longer YouTube or website video
  • Thumbnails, titles and descriptions for YouTube
  • A posting order matched to your offers and season
  • A short review of which clips held attention

A quarterly shoot day keeps the plan supplied with new footage of real jobs, dishes and staff, so the clips never start to look recycled.

Compare

Short-Form Edits, YouTube Videos and Video Ads

Each format does a different job. Short clips are usually the place to start, with the other two added once you know what works.

Reels, TikTok and Shorts

Vertical clips that reach people nearby who don't follow you yet. Best for showing results fast: a finished job, a new menu item, a clinic tour.

Longer YouTube Videos

Explainers and walkthroughs that answer the questions buyers ask before calling. They keep picking up views from search long after posting.

See YouTube Video Services

Paid Video Ads

Your best-performing clips run as Meta or YouTube ads aimed at Katy ZIP codes, so a proven video reaches more households.

See Social Video Services

We'll tell you which format fits your budget and footage. Paying to promote a clip that hasn't proven itself organically is usually money wasted.

Your plan

A Video Plan Built Around Your Katy Customers

What we film and how often depends on what people around Katy are deciding when they come across you.

We plan around:

  • The services or dishes you want more people asking about
  • Where you work: Cinco Ranch, Cross Creek Ranch, Fulshear or wider
  • Your seasons, from summer AC calls to back-to-school checkups
  • How much footage your team captures and how often
  • The platforms your customers actually scroll
  • Who on your team is comfortable on camera

A plan built on those keeps every edit pointed at a job, a booking or a table, not just views.

FAQ

Video Editing Questions From Katy Businesses

We won't put a number on it before we've seen your footage, your audience and how you take bookings, and anyone who promises views or sales up front is guessing. What we will show you every month is watch time, profile taps and the calls and messages that came from video, so you can judge it on your own numbers.

Yes. A recent phone shoots more than enough quality for social and YouTube. Send the original files through Google Drive or Dropbox rather than a messaging app, which compresses them. After the first batch we'll tell you which shots worked best, so the next round is easier.

Yes. We film at clinics, restaurants, model homes and job sites across Katy, Fulshear, Brookshire, Richmond, Cypress and Sugar Land, and you're welcome to film at our studio at 3323 Upland Spring Trce. Call +1 (713) 487-8445 to set a date.

A fixed price per video or a fixed monthly plan, based on the number and length of edits and whether filming is involved, quoted before we start. If you boost videos, that ad spend is paid directly to Meta, TikTok or Google and is separate. No long contracts.

It depends on length and how much footage there is to sort. Short clips usually come back within a few working days of receiving footage; longer YouTube edits take more time. We agree dates for each batch up front, so posts line up with your offers and events.

You do. Finished videos and the raw footage we film for you belong to your business, and we hand over the files whenever you ask. Licensed music stays under its license terms, which we explain before you reuse a clip somewhere new.

If you want. We either hand finished clips to whoever runs your pages, or post, schedule and answer comments ourselves as part of our social media management, with the videos planned into your posting calendar.

Anyone recognizable on camera signs a release before we post. In clinics we keep charts, screens and other patients out of frame and blur anything that slips in, because HIPAA applies to video just as much as to paperwork.

Turn Your Camera Roll Into Posts That Get Calls
